Some of you may know about the Film Shooters Collective. A website (and very active Facebook Group) for us film shooters. Its members are distributed across the globe and are united by their love of film.
And yesterday I met up with Kevin Lim, a fellow member from Singapore. He's currently in Munich for work, but as he had the Sunday off we decided to meet for lunch (and coffee later) and chat about film photography. I brought my Bronica ETRSi on his request and I was lucky to finally see a Mamiya 6 in the flesh. Luckily for me I discovered that the Mamiya isn't that much smaller and lighter than my Bronica. Combined with the fact that it's much more expensive I'm happy to report that I'm not interested in buying one myself anymore. Phew!
Unfortunately it was raining the whole day so even though we walked around a bit I didn't take a single shot, but hey talking shop about cameras is also fun, isn't it? Although maybe next time I meet one of my fellow film shooters I'll at least take a portrait of them. ;)
