After a long time of trying various 35mm cameras I've recently come back to my first love, the Minolta SR line of SLRs. Back when I was a teenager my dad gave me a Minolta X-300 with a Tokina 28-85mm zoom lens. For years this was my only camera, and I guess that's why I really like them.
Today I received a cheap and relatively small Weston Master II (thanks to this shot from Hamish Gill). Now I have a nice meter to go with the Minolta SR-1s (thanks Arne!). The plan is to shoot slide film (or color negative if really necessary) with the SR-1s and black and white with the X-500. As the only readily available slide film these days is ISO 100 the SR-1s will probably be my "outdoors camera" and the X-500 the "indoors camera". Let's see how long I can stick to this plan. ;)
