Here it is, the Canon EOS 650 Inge sent me a while ago. The lens I had to buy myself, but it was still an incredibly good deal. :)
I owned a Canon EOS 650 before but for some reason decided to sell it. Maybe it was because I had the Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 back then which may not focus as quickly as this lens? I can't quite remember anymore but I think this time the camera will stay (for longer :D).
It only has one autofocus point, but it's a really good one! Even in relatively low light it finds focus without hunting which is more than what can be said about the three autofocus points of the 10 years younger Canon 500N I also own. And therefore this is the camera I reach for when I want to take pictures of my kids. So much so that it doesn't live on the camera cabinet anymore but instead has a permanent place in our living room.
